‍Ridwan Oloyede is the Co-Founder of Tech Hive Advisory, where he leads the technology policy team. He advises on the global aspects of cybersecurity policy, data protection and privacy laws, digital health and digital ethics. Ridwan is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and a Research Fellow at the African Academic Network on Internet Policy.

He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional in European Data Protection Law (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Ridwan is also an expert at the Data Protection Unit of the Council of Europe and an official IAPP training provider.

Victor is a digital governance professional that works at the intersection of technology and public policy with a keen focus on the governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI). I have relevant experience working in consulting and the public sector and worked in organizations like Deloitte where he managed various engagements pertaining to the implementation of digital products and defining the process and governance for data/AI transformation projects.

He served as a Committee Member for IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems where they focus on providing global standards for addressing bias in AI systems. This is coupled with the need to continuously advise policymakers and industry leaders on methods of dealing with algorithmic bias, privacy, alignment, explainability of AI systems and other safety related concerns. I also served as a research student at the Center for AI and Digital Policy located in Washington and I was briefly a member of the Montreal AI Ethics Institute community.

For close to a decade, he has been offering consulting services on digital/AI governance to various firms that adopt machine learning algorithms to make business decisions. In consulting for firms, I have been heavily involved with designing and operationalizing AI governance tools that can be useful for these firms. Victor serves as a member for UNDP’s reference group on AI for Development (AI4Dev). I was a member of the expert group on the development of National AI Policy by NITDA. My focus has been to provide policy guidance on special considerations around AI policymaking. These considerations are not limited to advising on the need to create a thriving safe and trusted AI ecosystem.
