REGULATION OF OPEN BANKING: NEW FRAMEWORK ISSUED BY CBN
On the 17th of February, 2021, the Central Bank of Nigeria issued a new Regulatory Framework for Open Banking. This Framework applies to all banking and related services. It targets and intends to regulate participants such as service providers, consumers, fintech companies and the developer community who use and develop the Application Programming Interface (API) to make available and access data.
