We recently published a working paper on “Covid-19 and data protection in Nigeria: Protecting Health Data and Labour Relations” in partnership with African Law & Tech Network, and contributions from Tomiwa Ilori Temitayo Ogunmokun and Ridwan Oloyede. The working paper highlights the legal considerations for national policy in combatting the pandemic, the possible effect on data protection, how it can affect labour relation and the use of health data. The working paper concluded with recommendations on ways to effectively manage the data protection considerations.
