A Guide on Consumer Rights in Nigeria.

Every 15th March is set aside as the day to celebrate World Consumer Rights Day. This event sheds light on global awareness of consumer rights and needs. It is also a day for consumers to demand that their rights are respected and protected as well as protest market abuses and social injustices which undermine their consumer rights. Consumer laws function to protect and safeguard the rights and interests of consumers in society from unfair, unethical and unconscionable practices.
